It’s simple, find things and begin photographing things!

Sometimes you’ll just see something and think to yourself “that looks cool” and you’ll photograph it. Other times you’ll have to rearrange something this way that way, or turn it a little and you’ll find you like how it looks. Other times you can expect nothing and find your self with something. So my advice, try photographing things! Isn’t that what Edward Weston did, why not try it!

In my case I saw some lipstick and something furry and grabbed it. For another one I saw everyone photographing the lights on the chandelier and I wondered what it might look like underneath. Look at your surroundings and see what you’ve got to work with. Here are mine:
