Take a look at some of what I learned from my modern men’s fashion photography shoot.
This week I learned a little bit about what it’s like to shoot modern men’s fashion. First off, posing men is a lot different than posing women. This I already knew but putting it into practice was something I hadn’t tried too much. Just a tilt of the shoulder one way can either look masculine or feminine. Also boys seem more likely to tell you if they are uncomfortable over girls, or at least in this experience it seemed to be so. Something I noticed about shooting modern men’s fashion photography is having them do something with the clothing itself such as rolling the cuffs, or tying the tie. Remember to direct their every position and angle with precision is something I’ll need to get better at but definitely worth it. Check out some of the shots I got!
