Wanted Fall landscapes but then it snowed? See how I did with Fall Winter Landscape Photography
I went to the mountains expecting beautiful fall colors and they only lasted for a few days. One morning I had woken up to snow and it made me angry because I still wanted some fall photos. I decided to make due with this see what I could get. To my surprise I kind of liked the yellows and oranges from the leaves complimenting the brown woods from the lodge I was staying at with the white fluffy snow. Even though there was snow everywhere, it was nice to still have some leaves on the trees rather than just sticks. Sometime I learned from one of my earlier photography professors was that you can’t let your gear or conditions control you. You make due with what you’ve got. So while I wanted beautiful fall photos, I got that just with a blanked of snow. Even when things are planned sometimes you’ve got to change these plans around. Fall winter landscape photography can be beautiful if you let it!
David Balyeat who I happened upon in an internet search has some amazing photographs showing some Fall Winter Landscapes.
Hey Cynthia! I love this post! Your images are so crisp and really beautiful. I especially like the second picture of the shed. The composition is on point! And I like that you shot at a lower angle rather than straight on. Great job!!
