Get awesome photographs with indoor set ups for product photography.

Many times people think they need a studio to get awesome indoor photography shots when they don’t realize even their own home can be their studio. Sarah Janele portrayed some of this in a few indoor product shots she took earlier this year that turned out awesome! http://www.sarahjanele.com/effective-indoor-product-photography/
With the right lighting and props you’d be surprised at all the different things one can come up with. With some of these set ups I used an off camera speed light (flash), continuous lighting, or white cards to bounce light in different spots.

Something that I always look for is texture in the background. It makes such a big difference. You’ll notice in a lot of these there’s some kind of wood, or water. One doesn’t always need a plain black or white background for something to come off sharp. Let your subjects or in this case products tell a story.
